Privacy Policy
Last updated October 2026
Hashlings is built to need as little about you as possible. We don't ask for your name, email address or phone number. This policy explains what we do handle when you use the website at hashlings.fun and the Hashlings game.
1. What we collect
- Your wallet address, when you connect a wallet or sign in. It identifies your game profile.
- Sign-in signatures. You sign a short message to prove the wallet is yours. We check it and keep a record that a sign-in happened.
- Your game profile: the player name and look you choose, your progress, items, GOLD, quests, achievements, the team you pick, and a record of in-game actions such as battles, purchases and catches. We keep this record to run the game, to keep GOLD and rewards fair, and to detect cheating.
- Technical data: your IP address and basic connection details, used to keep the service secure and to limit abuse. Where we keep it in our logs, we store a one-way scrambled version rather than the address itself.
- Settings in your browser: a few preferences (such as sound settings) are stored on your own device. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
2. Public blockchain data
Minting, staking, buying items and transfers happen on Robinhood Chain, a public blockchain. Anything recorded there, including your wallet address and its transactions and tokens, is public and permanent. We can't change or delete it.
3. What others in the game see
Other players see your player name, your look and where you are in the game world. They don't see your wallet address.
4. How we use it
- to run the website and the game, and to keep your progress;
- to deliver what you buy or catch;
- to keep the game fair: anti-cheat checks, rate limits and investigating abuse;
- to pay out any rewards under the published rules;
- to comply with the law.
We don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
5. Who else handles it
- Cloudflare hosts the website and protects our servers, so it processes connection data such as IP addresses.
- Wallet providers (such as MetaMask, Rabby or WalletConnect) handle your wallet under their own privacy policies.
- Blockchain infrastructure (network nodes and randomness services) sees the transactions you send.
- We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect players and Hashlings from fraud or harm.
6. How long we keep it
Game profiles and their records are kept for as long as the game runs, because they are tied to your wallet and to fair play, rewards and the history of GOLD. Encrypted backups are kept for a short rolling period. Technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security.
7. Your choices
- You can play without giving us any personal details beyond your wallet address.
- You can stop using Hashlings at any time. Because profiles are tied to fair play and rewards, we may keep game records after you stop playing.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or correct data about you. Contact us to ask.
8. Security
We protect what we hold with access controls, encryption of backups and server-side checks. No system is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for keeping your own wallet safe.
9. Children
Hashlings is not for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly handle data of children.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
